Data Access

These are an overview of the steps to be followed by a researcher willing to access a dataset for which he/she has been autorized.

Step 1: Generate a pair of Crypt4GH keys
----------------------------------------

First, generate a pair of Crypt4GH keys

   crypt4gh-keygen \
      --pk <key name>-pk.key 
      --sk <key name>-sk.key
      --nocrypt -C 'Sample requester key'


Step 2: ES-FEGA Node registration 
---------------------------------

Create a new |link_1|. Just click the **Register** button and fill in the web form. You'll be asked for:

Create a new `Spanish FEGA Node Account <https://inb.bsc.es/auth/realms/es-fega/account>`_ . Just click the **Register** button and fill in the web form. You'll be asked for:

* A institutioanl email address (make sure it corresponds to the one appearing in the legal agreements
* The public Crypt4GH key (`<key name>-pk.key` in the example above)

Step 3: Notify ES-FEGA 
----------------------

Please, send and email to es-fega.helpdesk@bsc.es to notify that you have successfully registered. They'll prepare your data petition.
